How to Link Your Blog to a Facebook Fan Page
I just spent the last 38 minutes linking this blog to my Facebook FanPage.
First, I highly recommend a Facebook Fanpage to promote your business. Facebook represents a huge communication opportunity that you can no longer ignore. Fanpages are easy to set up, and you can get started right from your profile page.
Once you have your FanPage — linking your blog is a great way to deliver Fresh content.
It wasn’t obvious how to accomplish this. Each set of instructions that I found was missing an integral part of the process — so I thought I would save you a half hour and provide the instructions here.
Get Networked blogs — A Free Facebook Application. If you start from your Facebook Page - you Can search for this App - or just use this link. http://apps.facebook.com/blognetworks/index.php?ref=appd_my_recent&fa=0
Follow the instructions to register your blog. It likely won’t show up in the list, but keep following the instructions and you will eventually get the option to register a New Blog.
From the Networked Blogs App — You will want to select Feed Settings, and give the appropriated permissions for Facebook to pull the blog posts into your Fan Page.
You will also want to add a new tab — and select Blog.
